From the Nucleus to Chaos
I question what looks simple, and reveal the chaos beneath it.
This series questions social change, the nuclear family, sovereignty, loneliness, madness and selfishness through a Pop Art lens. I turn Pop Art’s colorful, striking and ironic language toward social matters — and paint them with the very house paint society consumes every day. Across works that seem independent of one another, the stretching, sprawling limbs of the figures are the expression of a contemporary human being shaped toward decay.
